We're so happy to welcome the latest addition to our City Anthologies series -- Under Purple Skies: The Minneapolis Anthology, edited by Frank Bures.
And we're not the only ones excited. "Prince of the Midwest," contributor Michael Perry's piece on, yes, Prince was excerpted last week at Longreads, and on Friday the Star-Tribune ran a wonderful review. In it, critic Weston Cutter writes: “In nearly every piece, I almost couldn't help feeling a little Geiger-like clicking yes! as the city I know and love was described anew, over and over, in ways I've never seen articulated.”
Congrats to Frank and all the contributors! If you're in the Twin Cities look for them and the book next week at The Loft's Wordplay Festival.
