How I Found Belt
I met Anne at the Distillery when she was in Pittsburgh for a Food and Drink Writers Conference. At the end of the distillery tour, Anne told me "you should write a book." I replied, "I did!" And then much to my great surprise and delight Anne published it and has championed the lost history of American Whiskey ever since. I fell in love with Anne's unsinkable wit and passion for bringing unsung stories to the world from our first conversation. I am so proud to be a part of the Belt community.
